Our first Vines are in the ground, we planted Marquette, Marechal Foch, La Crosse, and St. Pepin. It will be three long years before we have fruit that is suitable to make wine from.  It will  then be another year before the wine will be mature and ready for the Tasting Room. You are welcome to stroll through the vineyard and take a self guided tour. We could tell you all about these grapes in the blog, but we aren’t going to do that, you will have to take the Vineyard tour. If a member of our staff is available (and mother nature cooperates) we will gladly take you on a free guided tour of the vineyard. Like our Winery Tour (The World’s Greatest Shortest Winery Tour), we are proud to have the World’s Greatest Shortest Vineyard Tour.  We have picnic tables in the vineyard, where you can enjoy wine and your snacks (B.Y.O.F. aka Bring Your Own Food).

and Sunday 11 to 5.

It’s less than a week away from our  2nd “Wine Season”. We are  looking forward to  re-acquainting with old friends and meeting new ones.  Look for our new wines-some are available now and others will be ready soon!  The Vineyard is planted and ready for you to stroll through, the patio and “porch” furniture is out and waiting to be used.   We are set and ready to begin tastings May 3rd!  We will see you all soon!

Need a Pieper Porch Wine, when we are closed. It is now available at Eagle BP in downtown Eagle. They have River Road Red, Black Currant, Vernon Sunset, Marsh Moon and everyone’s favorite Lemon. Check Them Out!

Your winemaker and his cellar rats have been busy crafting some new wines for your enjoyment!  We will be introducing these wines in the weeks to come so watch the blog for the updates!  We are excited to have logo glasses available and we will be offering these glasses along with wine tasting for $5.00.  So you will have two tasting options:  taste 4 wines at no charge or taste more than 4  wines for $5.00 which includes a logo glass.  We are planning an outdoor tasting area-and hopefully the grass grows in better this year so there will be a picnic area too.  For those of you who purchased a case or more of wine in 2012, watch for your invitation to the First Annual Case Club Event.  Our new wines will debut at this invitation only tasting!

Soon the snow will be gone and we will be back to our regular hours.  May 3rd is opening day but remember that if you have a “wine emergency” don’t hesitate to call 262-349-9092 for an appointment.  We will gladly open for you!

This Saturday December 1st is Midnight Magic in Mukwonago.  Pieper Porch Winery is joining in the festive occasion by staying open until 7:00 p.m.  As part of Midnight Magic, enjoy $1.00 off a glass of wine from 3:00 to 7:00. After the parade stop by the Porch for a warm glass of Winter Apple or any of your favorite wines.

This weekend we will be releasing our Celebration White, a dry sparkling white wine just perfect for the holiday season.  Supplies are limited so don’t miss out on getting a bottle or two of this wine for your holiday enjoyment!

Black Friday Event-After getting all the Black Friday bargains at the Mall early in the day, plan to join us for a little relaxation with wine and card making on Friday November 23.  Amy Pieters an independent Stampin Up Demonstrator  will be here with her talents and invites you to come in make cards with her.  She will be at the “Porch”from 11 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
